Dips

Stephen Grande and I belong to a little supper club here in town, about 10-12 couples. We meet once a month. Last night was our turn to host and the weather was awesome. We were able to eat on the back porch and some of us stayed up talking until 10pm! That's a late hour for a bunch almost thirty-somethings with young children.

These are two of the appetizers I served pictured below. With football season around the corner you can't have too many good dips!

Bugle or Vegetable Dip

Ingredients:

1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup cottage cheese
1 packet of Ranch dressing seasoning mix

Instructions:

Stir together and refrigerate. Serve with vegetables or bugles.

Cream Cheese and Salsa

Ingredients:

1 8 oz package cream cheese
1 large jar of salsa

Instructions:

Allow cream cheese to soften to room temperature then mix together with salsa. I mix mine with my kitchen aid mixer. Refridgerate and serve with tortilla chips.
